Common Rue – Ruta graveolens

  • Culinary use

Used principally to add flavour, Rue is traditionally added to liqueurs and grappa. The leaves can be used sparingly with salads, meat and fish dishes, oils and aromatic vinegars.

  • Medicinal use

Rue is a herb with a variety of therapeutic properties: sedative, digestive, carminative and deworming. This natural remedy reduces bloating, acts against inflammation and provides excellent results in the treatment of sport-related trauma and accidents. At that’s not all: Rue calms the nervous system, reduces cramps and helps with aches and pains.
